Ashwin Kumar’s mythological animated film, Mahavatar Narsimha, is winning hearts and tickets across the country. Meanwhile, Pawan Kalyan’s big-budget period drama, Hari Hara Veera Mallu, is struggling to maintain its momentum after a strong start.

Mahavatar Narsimha Box Office Collection Day 6

Mahavatar Narsimha opened with a modest Rs 1.75 crore on Day 1. But the film quickly gained pace, especially in the Hindi-speaking belt. By Day 6, it had collected Rs 37.05 crore in India. The Hindi version alone brought in Rs 20.9 crore, showing the film’s broad appeal beyond regional markets.

The Telugu version added Rs 7.62 crore, while other versions like Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam saw a limited response. Still, the film’s day-by-day growth has impressed trade watchers. With just domestic earnings, it is now eyeing a Rs 40 crore first-week total.

Family viewers and children have embraced the movie for its spiritual themes, strong storytelling, and quality animation. Based on the tale of Lord Narasimha and Prahlad, the film blends devotion and culture in a fresh, engaging format.

Hari Hara Veera Mallu Box Office Collection Day 7

Hari Hara Veera Mallu: Part 1 - Swords vs Spirit, directed by Krish Jagarlamudi and Jyothi Krishna, opened big with Rs 34.75 crore. But the second day saw a sharp fall to Rs 8 crore - a worrying 77% drop. Despite a weekend push of Rs 9.15 crore on Saturday and Rs 10.6 crore on Sunday, the film couldn’t regain its grip.

Weekday earnings continued to fall - Rs 2.1 crore on Monday, Rs 1.75 crore on Tuesday, and Rs 1.2 crore on Wednesday. So far, it has managed Rs 80.3 crore across all language versions in its first week.

While the Telugu version leads in collections, the dubbed versions in Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam haven’t drawn much crowd. Wednesday’s occupancy in Telugu regions stood at just 13.65%, highlighting the drop in public interest.

About Mahavatar Narsimha And Hari Hara Veera Mallu

Mahavatar Narsimha narrates the powerful tale of Lord Narasimha’s divine appearance to save his devotee Prahlad from the demon king Hiranyakashipu. The emotional, mythological journey paired with strong visuals has made it a family favourite.

On the other hand, Hari Hara Veera Mallu presents a fictional story set during the Mughal era. Pawan Kalyan plays Veera Mallu, an outlaw-turned-rebel. The film also stars Nidhhi Agerwal, Bobby Deol, Nargis Fakhri, and Nora Fatehi.
